INFEED CONVEYOR :
The in-feed roller conveyor of the system receives the carton of tiles from the check weighing systems. Once the product reaches end of the in-feed, operator will press the Foot Switch & pusher push the bottles of tiles into the film curtain for wrapping.
SEALING AND FILM FEEDING SECTION :
The Shrink Wrapper uses two rolls of single wound film. Both upper and lower rolls have gravity film feed system with extended film storage to feed out maximum.
The sealing system comprises of a hot knife design with special coated for P.E. films. Separate knife and sealing pad is optionally available for Polyolefin Shrink Films.
Once the load passed through the film curtain the sealing jaw comes down, after the seal made, it retracts. Cool air thrown on the seal to achieve a strong seal.
SHRINK TUNNEL :
The shrink tunnel used to circulate hot air around the pack as it moves on the conveyor. The air from inside of the tunnel suck and blown on the heater. Heaters are finned types. This re-circulated air comes on the pack from all sides, top bottom thereby giving a uniform shrink to the pack.
During the first quarter of the tunnel, the film gets hot air only from the bottom and then from all sides. This helps in shrinking PE film well and helps to pull the seal to bottom of ‘unit. Once the unit moves out of the hot chamber, then cool air is thrown on the unit to achieve a tight cling on the unit and it cools the unit.
